Dried Blood Spot (DBS) cards are a fast and easy method of collection blood samples. This simple and minimally invasive technique supplies enough sample for biochemical testing and in most cases genetic confirmation testing as well.

Each Dried Blood Spot card shows an individual serial number (SN; referred to as DBS-ID) for its identification. The DBS-ID is also relevant for use in the ARCHIMEDlife WEBPORTAL. To receive test results fast, each patient and his / her respective DBS-ID can be registered in the WEBPORTAL. As soon as results are available, we will send an automatic E-Mail notification.
